Iranian critic to judge at Goteborg filmfest

Iranian critic Hamed Soleimanzadeh is to judge at the 2021 Goteborg Film Festival in Sweden.

Iranian critic and university tutor, Hamed Soleimanzadeh, has been selected as a member of the jury panel at the 2021 Goteborg Film Festival (GFF) in Sweden.

As a jury of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI), Soleimanzadeh will join other well-known critics from France and the Czech Republic at the GFF.

The GFF is one of the most credible festivals in Europe.

According to festival’s official website, “Göteborg Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Nordic countries. Each year the festival’s program group travels around the world to track down choice films to bring back to Göteborg. Due to the increased spread of Covid-19 the festival 2021 will go digital, presenting an online cinematic experience. During the eleven-day festival at the end of January, there will still be a great banquet serving audiences nearly 50 films with premiere screenings every night.”

The 2021 edition of the GFF will be held on January 29-February 8.
